
JuneYao Air sedan, a subsidiary of the JuneYao Group, is set to launch its first electric vehicle (EV), the JuneYao Air sedan, in Nepal this February. This marks a significant expansion for the company, which entered the automotive industry in 2023 by acquiring Yudo Auto and rebranding it as JuneYao Auto. It’s speculated that the prices will start at around Rs.59 Lakhs in Nepal.

- Standard Variant: Equipped with a 51 kWh battery offering an NEDC range of 430 km.
- Plus Variant: Features a larger 64 kWh battery with an NEDC range of up to 520 km.
- Charging Capabilities:
- AC Charging: Takes approximately 5.3 hours for the Standard variant and 6.5 hours for the Plus variant from 10% to full using an 11 kW charger.
- DC Fast Charging: The Standard variant charges from 30% to 80% in about half an hour with a lower power charger, while the Plus variant achieves this in just under half that time using more powerful charging equipment.

This launch marks part of JuneYao Auto’s broader strategy to establish itself globally. Additionally, plans are underway to set up an assembly plant in Thailand by next year.
